Old Advertising, Trade, Greeting, Calling Cards 300 Pcs

This extraordinary lot of cards and ephemera covers an expansive range of years. The lot contains just on 300 pieces of Victorian and early 20. Century advertising, greeting and calling cards. About a third are advertising and include a variety of goods such as linens, parasols and umbrellas, stove polish, soaps, linament, furniture, sarsparilla, etc.

Colorful and plain calling cards feature printed and unprinted names. Greeting cards feature children, birds, animals, flowers, landscapes and are mostly for Christmas and Easter, many were inscribed with names and dates. Card sizes vary; condition ranges from good to very good with a few in fair condition, many were taken from scrapbooks or albums; some were trimmed or cut from other pieces; some are in protective sleeves.

It's impossible to show and describe each item but be assured there are many examples to delight collectors and dealers.
