Bloods, N. Y. J. G. M'Nair Victorian Trade Card Obsolete Town c. 1870s-80s Rare. VG
M'Nair Victorian Trade Card Obsolete Town name. Around 1840 was named after an early settler. On the Errie railroad line, the local station was named Blood station. For marketing reasons, they changed the hamlets name in 1892 to Alanta, NY. The station became Alanta station.
The hamlet of Alanta exists today as part of Cohocton, NY. I do not use this term much, but this card is rare and items from Bloods, NY don't seem to show up much. I have more trade cards and advertising pieces for sale.
