1890s-1905 NASHVILLE TENNESSEE The Palace BUSINESS TRADE CARD Department Store

"Greater Nashville's Greatest Store". Corner Summer And Union Streets. Summer Street was renamed 5th Avenue (now Rep John Lewis) in 1904-5. The Palace building was gutted by a fire in 1905 along with the Manix building, both being two of the most popular department stores in downtown Nashville at the time. I cannot find any record of The Palace ever re-opening after the fire.

Card has some names written in pencil on the back. A RARE PIECE OF NASHVILLE HISTORY!
